“The Carnival of Life is a ride. Get your ticket Inside!”
Step right up. You won’t believe your eyes The Carnival of Life is a ride... Get your ticket inside!
You’ll be amazed, see for yourself, all the stages of a life’s journey are here. The Legendary self, the inspiration from a Muse-led life. See through the eyes of the Artist. Watch the Alchemy as the cycles of life dance. And last, but not least, be inspired by the Visionary who see’s, with the eyes of the heart!
All the faces that have shown up in this painting each have a story. All are reflections in the looking glass of time, from my life. The layers embedded within are infused with love, intentions, dreams, and visions from my past, present and future selves with many twists and turns to the story! Let’s step into the canvas, shall we?
On your Right side is where many of my outer world expressions: “The performers” have congregated. The Diver being born unto herself while waking up. The Ring-mistress grandly presenting this viewing. The Dream-maker creating magic. The Artist Juniper Bay Meadows; wearing her iconic top-hat. And the shape-shifting contortionist, prepared to create alchemy. Is it an illusion? Could it all be real? They are All ready for Show Time!
On your Left side, the Legendary Stages of Life from the child, beginning the dance. The One ending the dance while setting her sights on the portal beyond. Young Me looking back on my life; wearing the signature moon earring. The Illuminated One who has transcended to the starry heights. And the One who is floating in a dream, slipping away from life’s drama.
The Center is where the One from another galaxy appears. Where the One who looks within dwells. Then there’s the joyful Visionary, who wears a mask to veil her brightness. The shadow-self who appears to be in distress. The One pulled in all directions. And the Inner child; I wonder what secrets she keeps?
Yes indeed, all the profiles of faces are reflections of me as well. With all eyes opened and looking up. Guided by the stars and the moon phases.
With so many chapters that there isn’t room for all of them here! The Carnival of my Life has been quite a Ride!
