Emerging
I am emerging
Coming into form
Patience
I am coming.
I hear you whispering in my ear
Of the joys of this world.
I have felt pain and isolation
And have hidden away.
But the Fire Woman within
Has kept my heart flames alive
Waiting until the time was right
For emergence.
She has kept me warm from within
The ever-present love aflame.
I haven’t really been alone.
It only felt that way.
Fire Woman has been with me.
So has Wise Woman
Ever watchful
Ever connected to
The quiet of my soul
Listening
The wisdom waters nourishing me
In silence
In nature
Birdsong
Ever aware, watching, waiting.
She knows how to get inside me
Through the upper portal where
My spirit guide leads me inward
And yet outward
To be in community.
My Known Self is there
Jitterbugging
Listening to
The whisperings of my guardian angel
Paying heed.
Feeling watched over
Protected
Cared for
Even when I didn’t know.
I am emerging
From deep within
Taking form out of the
Ashes of my youngest self
Who fled in red-hot anger and fury
Only to return hidden and quiet
Until now
After Fire Woman paved the way
For my emergence
Through the forge of becoming
Into my own form
Still emerging.
